Or is this an extremely dull Daytona 500? The only excitement seems to be the crashes.

Not sure I like this "new style" of racing at all.

Daytona usually seems boring.......I am sure that this type of racing only applies to Daytona...Hope so anyways......

Not feeling so good today, so sort of napped in my recliner till chore time, which is NOW. Yep, without the crashes, it's kinda tame. Well, to watch anyway. I guess if I were in one of those cars going 200+mph I would think differently!

There's a race today? Really, where?

Nascar is just something I never grew a taste for. If I want to watch people narrowly avoid accidents, drive faster than they should, and repetitively make left turns, I'll go watch people jockey for a parking spot at our local wal-mart.

Well, I'm happy to see that a kid won it instead of one of those grizzled old millionaires. Congrats Trevor Bayne. :rocker2:

I still don't like this though. Four or five two car drafts ahead of the pack. Not much strategy, drivers talking to each other on the radio, and nobody has taped DW's mouth shut yet. Pretty much all of the races are drafting races now, not a lot of short tracks. Cookie cutter cars on cookie cutter tracks.
