Looks like a Harbor Freight engine.
Definitely a transplant. Probably has lots of go power tho.

Pretty sure it is a transplant. :thumbs:  

 

$750 is a bunch too much but it the owner bought and used a $2 rattle can of white paint on the seat it would be worth a few extra bucks.

Looks like a Carrol Stream Diesel. Price he wants is almost the price of the engine. I been reading on those and seems like they are good engines.

I would take it.Engine looks like it hasn't run very long.Maybe 2 or 3 hours.See the galvanized coating on the exhaust elbo hasn't burnt off yet.

 

Those little Engines are $779.99-$849.99 Shipped,He wants $650 for the whole tractor with the Plow.Looks like a Great deal to me.If I was in the market for 1 I would be all over it.

 

That LOOKS like the 10hp Engine that Carrollsteam sells.
