Hi,  what do I need to know about pushing my 318 out of the garage so I can clean it out.  I've heard you shouldn't tow or push a hyrdo-drive.  I have the engine, gas tank and all the tin off of it, and it's nasty in there.  I'm tempting to try to get it on my trailer and bring it to a DIY car wash for some High Pressure cleaning.

On the right side, back by the transaxle there is a lever that disconnects the transaxle.  then you can roll it around w/o doing any damage.

JD Dannels is right. Here is what the Operator's Manual says:

Don't forget to pull the lever Out, like I did the first time I tried this.

It seems the 318 gurus beat me to the post this morning.

Yep, lots of folks here who know the 318. If you are doing a major rebuild or restoration on your 318 we always appreciate pictures!

I thought a 318 was a V-8 engine? LOL
