My hub and diffy gears got all mangled this summer and I notice no nylon plugs/screws in the hub...could that have contributed? Where can I get those plugs?

Take a pic of where you are talking about and post it. I'm in the middle of putting my son's B10 together and am willing to learn or help. Good Luck, Rick

The bolts that force the nylon plugs against the axle are supposed to be torqued down to 20 ft. Lbs. If I remember correctly. If you tighten them more than that, you will lose the differential action of the rear when making turns. If you just had bolts torqued down to the axle without the nylon plugs, you may have stressed the differential gear cluster, causing a gear to snap and getting caught up in the other cluster gears. I've heard of people making plugs from nylon cutting boards from the kitchen.

I sent you a PM about differential parts. If you need the hub too with the plugs I'll throw that in. Guys I'm parting out a 2012 rear end that has a broken axle tube if anybody needs anything cheap or wants what's left.
