Always remember, Dave Gingery (from making his own machine tools from scrap etc fame) said to my buddy in Michigan many years ago "If it works, that's the right way to do it."

What is the material in the box that lets it breathe?

The tarp material is the covering that was placed over the trusses when I was building my house. I saved it. It has various holes in it so it can "breathe".

Here are 2 more pics. I did find out it is from an E Z Vac system and seems a PO modified it to include a cleanout door on top.
