This the season for acres of leaves so this is the setup I've cobbled together. If the leaves aren't too thick it works OK. Made the deck boot out off wood but will do a proper fab of a metal one over the winter.....yeah right! The drive belt snapped on the G10 so now another project jumps to the head of the line.IMG_20141026_083709.jpg IMG_20141026_083648.jpg

Looks like a nice setup to me.  Who cares what it looks like if it works, and especially if it didn't cost a lot of money.

Looks like a good setup!! I have something very similar I built except I use a 5 HP MTD chipper shredder for the fan and remove the 1/2 circle plate on the shredder intake and the grate in the discharge and like a perfect mistress, it'll suck a golf ball thru 50' of garden hose. With the combo of the mower deck and the shredder it grinds leaves down very fine.

That thing is great! There not many around who would or even could make something to get the job done.

68guns, here is what I was referring to. This chute is doing me no good since I don't have the rest to make it happen. It was attached to a Bolens mower deck on my 850 when I bought it so it should fit just about any deck Bolens made.

I have started the clean up on it. Want to make sure there isn't much to fix if any at all.

If interested, shoot me a PM.

That looks like a really nice setup.  As long as it works that's all that counts.
