Got tire fixed yesterday. Stopped at tire shop on way to Ottawa to replace starter on my little girls car, she is in universty there . - 17 c wind blowing like hell laying in parking lot. What are dads for right. Did a little shopping later, Princes Auto has a little tire bead breaker about 40$. Didn,t buy one but now i know paid guy 10$ to put in tube could be worth buying one in future.

Tires can be a pain to break down sometimes.
What I do is put trany oil all around the bead, then I use a 4x4 cut to a wedge shape, put the point of the 4x4 on the tire right by the rim, hold it in place with my foot and hit it with a 10lb sledge. If you get the 4x4 to go in between the rim and tire it works pretty good.

Trany oil I should of said ATF
