They were tossing some boxes from work so I filled my trunk full and bought a roll of packing tape. Voilà a "Mind Craft" Castle....... And new mats for the tractors later.

By a kid the most expensive toy and then watch him sit there and play with the box. :wallbanging:   Kids love boxes and when my kids were young I would make fort's, cars, houses etc out of them for the kids to play in.

Hours of fun for the cost of a roll of packing tape $1.95. He has been out there re-arranging it all day.

Really cool!  Fun till it rains!

When I was real young we didn't have a lot of money for expensive pedal cars, and such.  There is a picture of me about 3 or 4, and my Dad pushing me around the house in a box.  Mom said I made him push me around in the box so much it wore the bottom out of it.

This brings back a lot of good memories! My sister and I, along with several neighbor kids, spent hours playing in our "box house". What a bunch of simple fun we had! A piece of flat cardboard on a steep hill gave us the fun of "summer sledding" too!! Thank you for sharing the photos!!!
