I finished up the bell for the top of the tower on the fire department.

Thanks guys.  I appreciate your comments.

Little pieces like this are rather time consuming but I really enjoy it when I start doing the finishing details on these building projects.
This bell tower took 4 days to complete.

The individual pieces are cut to size and then some of them are glued together.
After the glue drys on those pieces then other pieces are glued to the assembly.
The mounting frame for the bell is all made from scratch out of balsa wood.

This was built in 4 separate sub assembles and then put all together after each assembly was painted.
