I am a big fan of the looks of the Work Horse tractors but this one is in disguise. Since the original body was very rough and the guy had this custom painted black hood style body he put the hood, running boards and, fender pan on. He also gave me the correct upper dash to match the hood. It is also painted black to match. Now granted someone went to some trouble and done a very nice job painting the body work but....I don't like the black and to be honest I am not crazy about this hood style. I am debating on whether to finish it up this way or trade this custom painted metal for stock 300-400 series hood, belt guard, running boards, and fender pan. If I go back this way I would love to paint it back grey as a Work Horse. It's definitely a strong tractor. It still has it's original drive train. 18 HP Briggs twin,Eaton 11 pump, and bigger 1 1/8th axles and 8 pinion differential along with hydraulic lift. The tractor still needs a few things. Fuel pump, drive belt and odds and ends. Anyway here are some pictures of the Black Horse. It was super dusting from sitting in a dry building with a dirt floor. I pressure washed it but it needs a hand wash and wax.

Wow, someone really went all out to make it something it wasn't.
Nice find.
About every two years, I stop and see if a local one is for sale yet...

A kid had it MH. He is a pretty good kid but he does like custom stuff. I really like the tractor but I don't like whats been done to it. So I'm debating on what I want to do with it.
