Well, the dealership/loan is messing around.  They wanted pay stubs, understandable.  Then they wanted a copy of my phone bill, now they want a copy of my home loan statement.

I can't figure out why they want all this over stuff.  15 different confirmations of who I am.

I told my wife I am about done with it, and just move onto something else.

The more Info they demand and you are willing to give, the better for them and the more exposure you have that there could be an issue IMHO.
They need far less usually than they ask for. Time to mention that you have other alternatives. you are tired of giving them all this private info and in this era of identity theft, you are becoming concerned with safety of the info you have given them.

After threatening to walk we Finally closed the deal and drove it home.

Ended up 23 for the truck 13 for my car and out the door for little over 11k(taxes ect) financed for 36 months.

I feel good about it. Rate wasn't great nor terrible at 8%.

Keep in mind my credit is subpar. I have been rebuilding it but honestly only have 1 loan now 2 on my report. Ex wife trashed my credit leaving me with stuff I didn't even know I had.

I'll post up some pictures tomorrow. I told my wife in the spring we will go trade her car in on a toyota for her. She is in need. Might as well buy 2 and keep us good for years.

Thanks, Good luck with your purchase.  Let me know what you get and what you think of it.  I love cars, trucks, ect and always like peoples opinions on stuff.

The Tacoma is worth a look if you want a smaller pickup 18 to 22mpg seems the stated average.

The small bed is kind of a downfall for me.  I wanted a full 8 ft bed.

We are replacing the 2012 Taurus limited with the same thing except 2014 with all wheel drive. Every time the roads get a little iffy the wife takes the Sport-Trac and leaves me with the 2 wheel drive vehicles. Not any more.  :D
