Wrong, but not by much.
Yep, it's a big flag. Did you see where the flag and pole were manufactured?
Here, yep here. In the USA... In Dallas to be exact.

I love it!  As a kid we had a Chevy dealership with a flag like that, that appeared to be as long as their showroom building when there was a stiff breeze.

We have a local chain of tire/auto care shops that flies a 20x30 at each location.  I remembered it causing a fuss from folks in one area, who thought it an eyesore or hazard, and ran across these brief articles outlining it to be against some ordinances.

When I made the flying trip to Corpus Christi, TX a while back I saw one about a half mile off the 4 lane that towered way about the telephone poles and the flag had to be 30X60. That sucker was huge.

That symbolizes a time when Americans knew we could do it, not because someone said we could, but because we were Americans. In 90 days, without computers or Pre planning, we turned Fords and Chevys into tanks and planes, combines into bombers, and we willed victory, because we were Americans.

I saw that flag, several years ago, when the pole was shorter. It was absolutely amazing! If I remember correctly, it was damaged in a storm. Hope to get up that way again, someday, to see the new one.

I would like to know what the Marines would have done to  these jerks if they gave them any lip when they raised the flag at Iwo Jima
