One of the reasons I am not on this site more posting about my progress on my tractors....Bicycles!

My wife and I rode in the Fall Classic Grand Fondo two weekends ago.

Anytime either one of us reduces the power output, it is immediately evident.

Actually, that is not the case on a tandem. My wife gets to look around and "site see", while I am busy concentrating on the road.

For those of you what have not ridden a road bike, every little crack or hole in the road can be a hazard to our skinny tires/wheels, so the person in front (Captain) has to keep a close eye to the road. The person in back (stoker), has the freedom to really get a good look at the scenery.

My wife often comments on stuff we passed on the ride, that I never even noticed.
