This is the day that the Lynyrd Skynyrd's plane crashed. A very sad day for one of the best bands out there

This is Lynyrd Skynyrd White Dove, one of their best songs that is never heard.

When Billy Powell passed a few years back, the last of the real Skynyrd passed, too. The best roadie turned keyboardist in history. They were the Beatles of Southern Rock, they changed music for decades.

Funny you should mention Call Me the breeze. Eric Clapton just did a tribute album to J.J. Cale who has also passed away. It's called The Breeze. Worth a listen if you like Cale's work.

JJ Cale was the best musician to never get the recognition that his peer group did, Crazy Mama was some great old fashioned rock blues work.
