Replacing Stater Generator Pulley Key

i was wondering where you guys purchase a flywheel key i need a 1/4 x1/4 by 7/8 it is for a cub cadet 122

Thad, a 1/4'' square key ought to be something a good hardware store will carry.  Pulley keys are standard stock, anyway.  If you can't find one, I'll cut off a chunk for you.

All of the starter generator keys I have seen are half moon shaped not square key stock.

Same here....woodruff keys.
