Hello everyone,
On thursday I got my new scut. Its a Massey ferguson gc2600, with fel, mid mower, and rear agco 54" blower. Last monday the snow decided to come crashing off the roof of my garage leaving 3 to 5ft. of snow in my driveway. I shoveled it away from the side of the barn(2hrs of digging) but didn't get it off the driveway. So thursday night I got @ 30 mins. of seat time in. all I can say is WOW!!! This thing is incredible. I got this to replace a cub cadet gt 3200 with only 29hrs on the clock. Even know the cub was there biggest, and best gt they sell, this Massey is 100% percent better already!! Well enjoy the pics!! I want this n.y. weather to decide if it wants to snow or be warm for spring time clean up!! Thursday and friday were in the mid to high 50's and today its 25 and very windy. I want more seat time asap!!!

Nope I still have my bolens. I did sell my 1941 farmall A though for the down payment on the Massey. I may sell some of my project bolens this spring, but for now the bolens are stored away in my back barn.

Im pretty sure massy makes there own tractors. The Motor is a iseki diesel that performs awesome. it was rated highest at the pto hp at the lowest rpms, which I like so your not winding the tractor full throttle to make power. When I used it the other night I had it between 2000 and 2500 rpm's. Full power is rated at 3000 rpm, but it didnt need that at all. We got some snow today, so it will be time to play when I get home!!! Thanks all for the great comments!

Thanks for all the great comments everyone! I really liked the looks and the build of the massey. I don't want j.d. guys mad, but I dislike the new 1 series. It's got way to much plastic for me, the hood leaves the engine hanging out in the open, the rear fenders are dull plastic and dont cover the hydro trans., and the floor boards are thick black plastic. Just my opinion, but when i looked at the new 1 series a few things ran through my mind, saturn cars, rubbermaid items, and kids plastic sleds. I feel that the old j.d. 2305 was a better looking, better built machine. The 2305 might not of been as "customer friendly" as some might like, but I thought it was much nicer! I had it narrowed down between a j.d. 2305 and the massey gc2600, but when the local j.d. dealers didn't want to locate a 2305, or even make any kind of a deal with me on a 2305 or a new 1 series, Massey was the way to go for me. I'm glad i went red, and not green!
