Managed to win the auction for a Cruise Control Kit for the HT series. :dancingbanana:
http://www.ebay.com/...cvip=true&rt=nc

With the HDT1000 being refurbed, and the cruise control on it not working, we may use some of the parts for getting the HDT's cruise working.

If not, then it will be installed on my HT20D.

Congrats on getting this unique add-on. Not sure why cruise control would be needed on a tractor, but, I'm all ears. :beerchug:

They are nice to have if you are mowing large areas, or running the FEL doing on level ground. Helps keep the hydraulic pump putting out a decent amount of oil.

It maintains ground speed when you are doing chores that can be done at a constant speed. It's something that was lost when hydro control went from hand operated speed controls to foot operated, return to neutral when your foot is off the go pedal, type control. The foot control is much safer and easier but then you need to add the cruise function again as an option. I use CC on my 2320 compact tractor when scarifying the driveway. You can get a constant slow speed that way.

Are you getting power to the magnet, if you are then your electro magnet is probably bad.
