Hoping to find the shredder screen that fits the Bolens MC 4800. I think one fo the Mackissic models has a similar screen type... I have no idea of the model number, no service or owners manual. I have a photo posted of it in another thread on this forum.

If anyone has one or has an idea on where I could find one, or even someone who may reshape the 2 that I have..... It is a beast, but parts are like finding a needle in a hay stack.

Check the mackissic site....they have parts diagrams with dimensions and all screens (in varying hole sizes) are available.

Your screen is not the same as the screens for the MacKissac 9P or 12P models.

I may be wrong, but I don't think your shredder was built by MacKissac,  maybe by Troy-Bilt or Garden Way ??

This one would have been either Bolens or Gardenway

For some reason there's a big void in literature with these chippers so part numbers are almost impossible to get.

Bruce - right, it is not made by Mac, I thought that a Mac screen may fit.... I have seen some in photos that look almost identical...

Just to give everyone an update....

I was able to find a NOS screen..... I am going to see if the person wants to become a supplier.... Maybe some of you already know of him

Sam's Bolens.... He was even shocked that he had one of those screens in stock...

Yes, Gardenway, once in a while the right screens show up, original design was built by WW Grinder Co before it was bought and renamed Troy Bilt, mines is the WW Grinder original Tomahawk and Wichita Traveler which is more or less like yours only with stationary knives instead of fail knives. I made my screens and bars.

Also have series 4 Super Tomahawk branded as Troy Bilt.
