This will be coming up on a auction soon and it has caught my curiosity. I've don't some research and haven't really found any helpful. The biggest question is I guess what Briggs engine did that have on them? What years where they made?
Its kind of unique and definitely fixable even though it looks rough.

Thanks

In our groups we call that one the Saw from Hell. Don't seem to be any market for them as most guys who get a complete one ussally end up parting it out for other tractors. The orginal engines seemed to be a Z or ZZ briggs. They also made a sawbuck that on it so you could make firewood chunks. Montgoermy Wards sold a similar looking outfit about the same time frame.
