I picked up another Snapper 1855a tractor for $300 this time I haven't looked the engine over but the previous owner said he thinks he seized it up and parked it and has been sitting for the last 5 years

That looks like a solid tractor for 300. I hope the engine is OK!

Seems like a very  good deal :thumbs:   I bet if that was on my local CL it would have went for double if not more in that condition :(

Looks like that has the rear PTO and 3 pt arms, decent buy.

Well I drained what little bit of oil was in it No wonder it seized on the previous owner Some people shouldn't be allowed to own equipment by just looking at the way they take care of things PLEASE CHECK YOUR OIL ONCE IN AWHILE!!!!!!!
