Don't worry about the tube frames. Once you really get to try out a large frame Bolens, all other GTs just seem small. Good Luck, Rick

Remember, he's been exposed to the 1886 when he refurbished the Forklift.

He's also gotten to 'play' with the HDT a bit.  I left it there with a CAT 0 plow hanging off of the back, and he gave that a bit of a try.

That G11 IS a bit rough, but the sheet metal is straight, and with the exception of the seat it's all original, including the 'proper' PTO.  It is missing the guard/brake for the PTO, but I have one here that I told him I'd give him for it.

Sorry to hear about your luck!  Those are a couple of nice tractors, I'm sure you'll have them looking good in no time.

If I had a blog it would probably bore the world to death.

He's also gotten to 'play' with the HDT a bit.  I left it there with a CAT 0 plow hanging off of the back, and he gave that a bit of a try.

Let that be a lesson to everyone: never leave a diesel in anyone's hands with a plow on the back if you don't want it to dig dirt.  :D

Gotta watch out for them ol buzzards..they can be sneaky fo sure!..congrats on the nice tractors!

Its the pirate side of the HMS Rainmaker.

Very nice story. My question is: What is Old Buzzards version of the story?? :poke:

:rolling:

That's not half as interesting as how much I paid him to keep quiet.

And less "I was seduced by a Buzzard"

You know how... weird... that sounds?

Brian, where would I find a red seat cover for the 850?

I figured the TRA10 was wrong since it looks like the S8D was more like what it needs.

Unless someone has a good S8 lying around needing work, the TRA10 fits fine.

Only way to get one is custom fabrication.

It was a mischievous trap.  It really was.

Ben W.

That was no trap, you walked straight into it on purpose, :)
