Is this a lambert or is it a farmette? would anyone by chance know what year it is? It has a 7 horse engine briggs and stratton

Looks like a Farmette 450....looks nice!  Early 60's would be my guess.

Just got it running and put it into first (reverse is first) 2nd and 3rd are reverse and my reverse goes forward. Anybody know how to fix it? Any suggestions?

If its belt driven..it sounds like the belt is installed wrong and turning the transmission the wrong direction.

Belt turning tranny wrong or engine installed to drive off wrong end would be my guess.
