Welcome to GTtalk, can you post a photo or 2? It sounds like you might a White's Hardware 16 made by MTD. Does it have 15" tires on the rear?

would like to know year and model of my white garden tractor

i am sorry, i have a whites hardeware ranger 16 hp hydrostatic. it is the same tractor that gt talk posted its new to me in guest membership. i am trying to find the year of it. i have hood and grill off, not firing, going to change coil. will post picture after i put it back together and learn how.
