Rare 1981 Sears Craftsman FF18 Tractor PRICE REDUCED! - $300 (Rushville)

I have a very rare and collectible Sears FF18. This is a large "estate tractor" with shaft drive hydro-static transaxle, hydraulic implement lift, hydraulic "category 0" 3 point hitch, dozer/smow blade, tire chains and electric front PTO. The tractor is slightly smaller than a sub compact and is comparable in size to a John Deere 400 or a 20 series Cub with 26x12 rear tires and 18x9.50 front. This tractor does not currently run I have recently installed a 16hp Briggs and Stratton horizontal opposed twin but have not finished the project. I still have the original engine and an extra parts engine that will go with it. I hate to sell my project tractor but we're moving out of state on short notice and just can't transport it. In average condition these tractors often sell for $1000-2000 I'm asking for $300obo for a quick sale. Delivery may be available of needed.

A nice deal for someone. An FF actiually was listed and sold here recently. The guy who bought it was looking for parts so I sent him here and he joined. He has the only FF I've seen in this area.

Even non running, that won't last long. That 3pt setup can go for that.

This is actually my tractor I'm selling. I have buyer lined up but don't want to sell it to him. It's a tractor junk yard. He's gonna pull the engine, tires, hydro pump and transaxle then scrap the rest. I have to have it gone so we can move. Taking it to him 4:00 oct 23 unless someone comes to save it. He's paying $250. Match the price and it's yours.

If I had the cash and a way to pick it up, I'd be all over it Jeremy! I have 2 FF/20's and love these things. If someone were close, I might have the $ by the 23rd.

Probably not rare but definitely "neat".  If I was closer it would be mine already.

Man, I so wished I could, only about 2 1/2 hr drive. I hate to see that one scrapped, that's a killer deal.

I got a friend who might be interested, I will pass it on.

That is close to Toomanytoys84, he needs to jump on it!

Bolens 1000, it's rare because the FF line was only produced for 2 years. FF18's are even more uncommon or rare because fewer of them survived. They were the only one of the FF tractors to have the briggs and stratton engine. The valve seats come out when they get hot and if not caught in time destroy the block. This may make me a poor salesman but, they're are fewer left because they weren't as good as the other FF's running Onan engines.
