Working on a Jacobson super chief here and just discovered it has a hole in the tank, I have few tanks here but they are all smaller.  anyone here have good tank they would part with for this thing?  Pm me with what you have and how much.

How bad of a hole?

I bet it is salvageable unless it is really bad off.

hole is about the size off a pencil, maybe 1/4" or less.  the trouble is the tank is very thin in that area.  I thought about trying to fix it but figured if I could get another it would be easier.  for now I have a different tank on there, it is to small but it will work.

On mine, it had a thin area like that. I covered the area with another thin piece of metal and welded that over. Not real pretty, but it cured the leak! It's not easily seen. Wouldn't do that for a 'trailer queen' though.
