I have a mostly original MF12 that was a barn find. If PO was truthful, it was bought, then owener died soon there after. It sat in barn for many years. PO bought from Wido and used to pull maple sap cart.

It had no PTO when I bought it.

The Starter and Solenoid both needed replaced.

The deck has new Blades, Bearings and a couple pulleys.

Rust was removed and deck coated with Rust Killer before I painted so the surface is not bondo'd perfect.

It mows nice.

It has usual small leaks of older tractor.

I would like to trade for simlar in Wheel Horse. I do not prefer the newest style.

C series or older.

Implements would also be considered.

I currently have a C161 and 2 GT'14 Project Tractors.

Let me know what you have.

Should be within a days drive of Capital Area of NY.

Regards, Aldon

  Awesome find for sure. I'm very familiar with these, I have a MF12 Hydro totally apart, blasted & primed waiting for assembly. Please make sure it gets in the right hands that will appreciate it. This is one that should be left as is.

That is a sharp, sharp, tractor.  Jim is right, it needs to be in someone's hands who will appreciate it.

Is a day's drive 24 hours consecutive or does a days drive need to be reasonable?  I bet you are a days drive from me.  :D

As I grew up in Christiansburg Virginia and have siblings in Charlottesville and Staunton, it's doable for right trade.

Tiller for WHeel Horse GT14, mower Deck in good condition for GT14, 27x9.5-15 tires (without dry rot ) and Kohler 16 hp K-341 in good running original condition are some of the things I could use.

I grew up in area but live in NY.

As I mantioned earlier in thread, I would tow the MF12 to Virginia for the right deal.

Since I could combine hobby with Family visit and throw in a hunting trip:-)

If someone is interested in the tractor, I am sure we can work a trade of some sort.

Massey now has a new home. Traded with a great fella that will touch it up and take it shows as he has several vintage tractors and also does some pulling.
