I used one to mow a ladies grass over the summer, got to mow the yard twice and each time it broke, then the steering went out.  it mowed good it was just bad build quality. it had 800hrs though

I think the 3000 series are awesome machines and will out cut any Cub ever built. I have a 1999 3205 with the aluminum diff locking rear and have had no problems at all out of it and the water cooled Kawi is a great engine. The decks are very nice and don't use the pos mule drive set up like the machines built before them and the rear deck rollers do a nice job and stripe the lawn. The foot controlled hydro is another big plus and they even have a drink holder. Too bad they quit making them but I guess nobody would pay the $5k to $7k for a lawn tractor.

So far do good on my 3205. It was in bad shape when I got it. Gas tank grommet leaked, wouldn't go reverse, belts too loose to turn blades among other things. Did have 54" hydraulic snow blade, 60" deck though. Fixed everything for $100 so I now have $700 in it. Getting wheel weights I had in now & tire chains. I'm hoping it pushes snow as well as I hope with the diff lock.
It has the Kawasaki motor in it.
