Nice looking tractor, even with the modifications.
The 16 is a repower and the decals had to be made, but they didnt over power the tractor (that will handle the 16 just fine IMHO) and it looks like a decent refresh/restore job. Can't Tell if its been torn down to frame or not, but it looks as if they got the nooks and crannies well if they left it assembled.

At least he was honest about the engine. A lot of sellers would have not mentioned it.

Right, I don't think it's anything bad, just pointing it out.
I think they found a tractor that was doomed to be brake rotors and gave it a new lease on life. They should all be so lucky.

Well, we know it's not "restored to original", but a decent refurbish. It's got a fuel pump tied up near carb and the valve cover has a welded plate on the side. Few things that look odd, but I would say $500 is not bad since it's in very good condition. I would be that engine maybe low hour, that would run 250-300 on the low end just for that.

Dosent appear to have been completely disassembled.

If you look close there's spots unpainted/overspray

Also looks like the decals are original which makes you wonder if the metal was actually blasted down to bare metal.

Would call this a "repaint" and not restoration in my opinion......
