After selling my 1254 and all of the gadgets to my dad, I needed something bigger for keeping my pasture mowed down. I managed to pick up a b6100 with finish mower and bush hog for $1800. Runs like a top. Not bad in my book!

You couldn't buy two front wheels for that money around here...

If it's in the condition you say then you stole it. Nice buy and don't forget to check the fuel level once or twice a year  :smilewink:

That's a nice tractor for a great price!! Congratulations!

I'll have to confess a little disappointment though... I thought you were going to post about getting a Gemco Big Boy GT!

Does that tractor have an hour meter? Your purchase price is the same as what I paid for my Iseki made Bolens, with a tiller, belly mower, and a snowblower. Yours looks to be in much better shape than mine was to begin with.

Yeah, it's that one. Turned out the guy didn't really know what he had. It was bought by a landscaping company, so it has fairly high hours (2,000) but it's well maintained. He traded a commercial walk behind mower for the kubota. He wanted $1500 for his walk behind so that's all he asked for this.

I then gave $300 for the rear mower. As soon as I find a snow blade I'll be in business.

I dare say, based on my expierence with my Ford 1500 you will like that machine the more you run it.
They will do a lot more than you expect for their size.

2000 hours is barely broken in for that tractor! Heck, they quit makin em in '84, so worst case, you have a tractor someone used only 67hrs/year! I put double that on my gassers just moving snow last winter!

That's a smokin great deal!  2,000 hours is nothing.  They can run 5,000 hours without any issues at all, many times much more than that even.
