Another one thinking he struck gold!

Tractor's missing all belt guards which is always a deal breaker to begin with!

I have a very rare 1959 Bolens ride-o-matic. You will not find this tractor just anywhere considering its rarity. I know what I have and will not take petty offers. Would consider a serious cash and trade depending on the type of equipment offered. Other than that I will only take serious cash offers. Please, no bogus emails or calls unless you are willing to offer me a fair price.

Well he really doesn't have a price just wants really cash lol and I'm sure you would have a very good idea of what it's worth so maybe you should reply to him . Course he probably  won't be too happy with you    :(

Not worth much at all, the tiller is the only thing he's got going for him.

Expensive pancake muffler missing and all belt guards, If the tractor dosent come with the guards to begin with its near impossible to find them separately.

Rare tractor, Antique tractor, Collector tractor, = $$$$$$... in some people's mind! I'm seeing a few tractors with $2,000 and up price tags that aren't anything special. Crazy!

Guys, I think you're missing the hidden detail. This one is the rare Bolens green. They only produced a limited run of about 100 thousand.

I agree no belt guard's no sale. I'm not spending every waking moment trying to find something more rare than the tractor it self.

I'm on my phone can't see the details but the engine looks to be freshly painted....why. Sometimes these adds temp me to call them just to aggravate. Would you take $100.plus some tractor parts in buckets, some parts are red, yellow, orange & green lol. I know I'm being bad it was just a thought.

Granted his 'tone' is a bit odd, and he seems to think pretty highly of what he has, but I'm not sure he is asking the moon for it....he doesn't even have a price listed.  Did anyone simply ask him what he thinks it's worth, or make him a fair offer?  $200 is a LOT of dough for some folks, while $1000 is for others.

I bought a 'very rare' old Guide light at a show vendor last summer.  As soon as I picked it up, he went on and on about how 'rare' it was to find one in that condition.  I almost put it down and walked away, until I asked him how much he wanted for it (after all...the OEM light bracket it was mounted to was worth at least as much as the light itself).  He said he couldn't take less than $10 for that rare light...it remains one of my better swap meet finds.  They are $50 apiece or more on ebay, every day of the week.
