Ok fellas I need a bit of help here.  I am working on this for a friend and don't think it is correct.  the blower looks wrong or I am missing something here!  The kohler engine starts rite up and runs good but when you hit the electric clutch it dies down and stalls, the blower turns freely by hand.  the lift and turn levers for the blower look wrong.  anyone have one of these or know what I have wrong here.  ant help would be great.

The foot rests are on backwards.  Pretty sure that won't help the blower but it would have to be more comfortable to sit on if you swapped sides with them.   :poke:

Take the drive belt off the blower and kick in the electric clutch.  If the engine still dies there is a short in the wiring causing a loss of ignition when the clutch is on.

Is that thing "new" enough to have any safety switches with the electric clutch?

Looks like my 1200 Super Chief Hydro but there are no safety switches on it. Make sure tha wire connections to the clutch are correct polarity. Also check to see if the blower turns the correct way when you flip the switch. You have a 2 stage blower and both of mine are single stage. JM2CW.   Good Luck.               Roger.

Check you PTO wiring. I traced mine out yesterday for Hopehill in this thread. I plan to make a diagram later today and upload it there. Basically it comes from the ignition switch to PTO switch. Through that with one wire to the light, one to the PTO. Ground wire from PTO goes to the ground side of the starter solenoid. Check that thread later today for the diagram. This is on a Jake 1450 with electric lift, but should work fine for you. If I post it sooner, I'll let you know.

EDIT: Going to upload the diagram right now.
