Hello everyone,

A while back I purchased a tiller for a tube frame Bolens in the hopes I could convert it to be used on a category 0 3 point. Unfortunately, without serious modification, I dont think it will work.
I am wondering if anyone on this forum might be interested in it.

I apologize if I have posted this in the wrong forum, but I couldnt find a classified section.

Its in great shape. Model # 18614 01

Thanks,
Ryan

Hello,

I'm interested.

What is its condition?

Do you have the lift arm and drive shaft for it?

How much do you want?

Thanks for the replies.

Unfortunately, I do not have the lift arm or driveshaft for it.  As far as what it fits, I'm afraid I really don't know.  All I was told is that it fits a tube frame tractor.

I bought it for $225 so it would be nice to get that, but I'd take $200.

The tines are in great shape and the shaft spins freely with no play.

Here's some more pics.

Oh,

And, thanks for the welcome.  I'm a true Wisconsin fella, so I like my Wisconsin tractors.  I started out rebuilding an Allis-Chalmers D-15.  Unfortunately, with only 1 acre of land, I didn't get a chance to use it much.  I was able to sell it to a farmer who's going to get some good use out of it.

So, I downgraded a bit and and have an Ariens GT12, an Ariens GT18 and a Simplicity 7116H.  The shed is pretty full, so I'm also thinking of selling the Ariens GT12 and a snowblower for the Simplicity.  Any interest in one of those?

Thanks again for the welcome.  I'm glad I found this forum...pretty sure I'm going to love it.

Yes, the #18614 tiller would fit on a Bolens 1050.

Bolens approved use of this tiller on all 8hp & higher tube-frame tractors with the exception of the G10.

The #18614 tiller has a 25" tilling width.  ....The tiller pictured appears to have the #18615 Hood & Tine Extension kit (8"), which makes the total tilling width 33".

Thats true, Bruce.  It does have the extension as the width is 33".

Thanks for the info!

 Now that's really odd.

I looked and on my list it shows for all except the G10 and G11.

What puzzles me is that it IS 'approved' for the G9, which is identical to the G10 except that it has an 8hp engine as opposed to the 10hp and 11hp engines of the other two.
