Ok I decided to save money and get a bigger tractor next year but for now I grabbed this bolens for $400 and am now going to grab a brand new blower for the front for $250 and a simplicity hard top cab $50 that I am hoping to wrap in tin and paint it black to create my own hard cab for it then I just need chains and whaight on the rear.

I know the blowers for both the case and simplicity work very well but I don't know much about the bolens you can always look at getting the best mower you can afford and adding the attachments later one at a time

Looks like it'll be a nice rig.

Nice.  I'm going to try to make a craftsman cab work on my Snapper.  Good luck.

I always vote cub cadet. 70s and early 80s are good solid tractors.

Okay guys I made a mistake I got the right blower head but the mounting from the blower head to the bracket is wrong and my bracket is wrong.
my mistake but there was a little money and the day on the road for nothing now I have found the right bracket once again 2 hours away and another 200 mile round trip this thing is starting to get expensive.
it is the same newer style blower head so I will be keeping that as a spare but the bolens should be ready to blow snow by the end of the week

This thing is starting to get expensive...
Yep, they do that all on their own. Still Much cheaper than a new rig.

Ok I cut up that other blower bracket and am using parts of it to make a rear lift I am almost done with all the fabrication but beat up the drill bit and had to go get another 3/8 now tomorrow hope to finish it up and then I will be mounting my weights from it due to the fact that the crome rims dont have mounting holes and the fact i dont want to damage the wheels then in spring I am going to rework an old plow into a rear blade and I am also leaving at 10:00 am to go get blower #2 for this tractor lol this thing really is coming along nice
