I know there have been a few threads similar to this but I wanted to know what everyone's favorite activity with there tractors is. I personally hate mowing, ironically. But I love snowplowing and I imagine I will like tilling but haven't done it before.

It's a toss-up for me between plowing the garden and tilling. Both are fun in my book. I'll be picking up a snow blade Friday, and I have a feeling that will be fun. too!

Well, if some one will put my rear in gear,

so I can repair a tractor and put it in gear,

then I'll be able to tell you my favorite GT activity! :D

I think plowing the garden is my favorite. 2nd on the snowplow. The only reason it's 2nd is because of the cold. :D

plowing with moldboard, tilling, dragging stuff around, that sorta stuff. Ironically I don't care about snow plowing, but I continue to buy at good prices snow blades lol. I now have 4-5 I got cheap (scrap yard mostly).

I would say that this old farm boy likes plowing a garden the best. It reminds me of the many hours working in the fields years ago. Next would be mowing because if you are mowing the yard it isn't winter out! Last year was a very good year for mowing as it rained enough to keep the yards growing real well all summer so lots of seat time.

I look foward to using my tractors every chance I get but I'd have to say that after plowing snow all winter I most look foward to putting in the Veggie garden every spring. I allways use my '51 David Bradley AKA "Little Bertha" With the quick implement change system the DB's have, it only takes me about an hour or two to Plow, Disc & Rake the entire garden depending on how wet or dry the ground is. It only takes about a minute or two to change the implements. Here's a quick video of how quickly that works, and how Mr. David Bradley drags My Fat Butt Around the Garden. More exercise than I get all Winter!

I think mowing is likely my favourite thing. There's an element of instant gratification there. Tilling a garden or moving dirt is generally the beginning of a bigger job. The instant gratification is there with snow too, but it's cold out when there's snow on the ground.

When it comes to where I appreciate a GT the most though, it has to be anything that I get to use the FEL for. I've had way too much experience shovelling and wheel-barrowing to not realize what a wonderful piece of equipment that is.
