I still dont know what im going to do with it. Honestly it will probably just go behind the shed for the winter. I've got too many other projects that need to be finished before winter.

Well, she certainly isn't a beauty but appears to mostly straight and intact. It shows a lot of promise. That is the AC version of the Simplicity hitch it is possibly slightly different to comply with the federal court order and make it incompatible with earlier implements.
If so slight mods are all that is necessary to make it work. Apparently that provision was later challenged and rescinded, as late serial numbers were compatible with simplicity implements.

All of my 300 and 400 models share the same hitch with all of my same era or newer Simplicity tractors.

I'v egot a B-1 and B-10 however that use a narrower sleeve hitch.

Any idea when the change was made from the narrow sleeve hitch up to the newer style?

Right now I've got a set of attachments for both for mine.

The attachments themselves vary between Brinly and factory AC attachments by the depth of the sleeve hitch where the pin goes through too.

The change was made on 400 series tractors on and after serial number 41001. Adapter kits with smaller lift lever sockets and wider drawbar draft bars was made available for all 300 & 400 series made prior to that point.

The 312D we bought in 1971 was not compatible with any of the simplicity attachments.
