 Hi guys  started to work on Dads 12 cant find the year on it but I have the serial #......its---->446511860   just like to know the year it was made looked in the manuals and can't seem to find any serial numbers  for them

SAM_0256.JPG  not a very good picture but hey it's a start :) Thanks Ben only one I got so far... I just feel lucky we got it started and driving after a 30 year sit pretty good testimony for Tecumseh I think.

VERY lucky indeed!  Those TEC carbs are about the worst at clogging solid after a long sit.  Hard to clean all the orifices too!

All I did was take the air filter off and spray a little gas in the front of the carb put a little seafoam with the gas in the tank  and choked it a little fired right up it does need new cable though to work really good.

Thanks for the info sawdust on serial #   year and hoping we can find everything needed at least it runs good.........on the other project  tried to get my 7 started tonight no go thinking it may be a head gasket and rings.
