I've never researched Honda tractors, but this just showed up on my local CL:

Rare Honda 4WD-4WS Tractor

Rare Honda 4WD-4WS Tractor - $2900 (Lincoln,AR)

"For sale is a HONDA 5000 - a real tractor. It is a 2000 model, one cylinder, 11 HP, 8 speed transmission with HiLo , full front and rear hydraulics. 3 point hitch. Even has a diff lock.
It has a live rear PTO. It comes with a 42" cutting deck, and a front blade with the factory quik detach. The roll cage is standard ROPS. It has been serviced with Mobil 1, and greased regularily. Tires are good, and there are new bearings in the clutch for the lawn mower.
This is truly one of a kind. Most parts are still at Honda, or can be found on the Web. You can add many different implements. I have the parts , and the service manual.
There are a few dents and bruises on the fenders. Like any Honda, turn the key and it starts."

That's real good price for that tractor. I have an older 5518 which is the big brother to that with the selectable 2wd/4wd system. Awesome machines. Parts aren't cheap but you rarely need any if maintained right. Boats.net is a great source of parts. I put a blower on the front of mine last winter with very little work. Uses the same quick attach system as the Deere and Kubota setups.

Do the Hondas like this do well pulling a plow?
