Haven't made any progress. I finished the painting and finished the walls in the closet. Had to spend some cash on non home projects(new stroller, car seat and such) and waiting a little to get the last of tiles, trim and shelving unit for the closet. Pay day is tomorrow so possibly this weekend.

The cabin is wired and insulated. No thanks to me. He has has been busting his butt there.

Cabin walls are up and the ceiling started!  Rough cut Poplar on the walls, and tin for the ceiling.  Really going for the rustic cabin look.  Walls will be trimmed in better cut wood stained dark to give some contrast.  We are going for the look at it was built like it was built out of whatever supplies were around.  We even have plans to build our own doors and latches.  We have some gaps in the walls.  Been looking at mixes to make a mud type sealer to put between the gaps in the boards.

Laundry room is about done.  I got lucky, lowes had a scratch and dent sale going on.  I bought boxes of stick on tile for .25 a tile.  Worked out great for me.  Did the whole floor for 25 dollars!  Only have trim left to do.

Started laminate floor in the cabin. It's starting to look like something. Well is being repaired. Power is on. Septic and being installed and we are moving forward on the project. He is starting to run out of cash though. Grand total so far is about 14,000. Here pretty soon we are going to be out of supplies.

It gets expensive. I figured out 3500 for my bathroom and 5000 for my kitchen.

the cabin has no bedrooms finished no kitchen and no bathroom. And both lack all plumbing. So he has a ton more to spend.

I am putting down trim today.
