What are you guys using to replace the seats on HT's or any other Large Frame. I know they are all a bit different and chances are no replacement seat will just bolt on.

Years ago I bought 4 replacement seats from an old advertiser at MTF, but he's long gone. I found his web site but he doesn't list the seats anymore. I emailed him, hopefully he can still get them.

If not I'm looking for other options. I'm in the market for two.

I think there were two styles for them, one was the giant spring underneath.

I can still get new replacements that closely match those ones.

Awfully kind of you to slap a new seat on my 1886, Ken. I plan on picking it up Feb 7th or so, anything else you want to get done on it before then? (aside from getting a loader for it?) I know you mentioned new tires.........

New muffler bearings, purified air in the tires, and Perrier in the cooling system.

Feb 7 you say ? I'll mark my calendar.

I imagine he'll be using Spring air... I hear it rides the best.

Ken - are you looking for just a seat.. or the complete setup? My HT23 has the large spring, whereas my HT20 has the leaf spring. I have thought about taking a (don't tell) an older cub cadet slider type seat bracket and seat and modifying it to fit my HT20. As for the seat - I'd love to have something with a higher back than my current seat. I'd be curious what your final pick is. After market tractor seats seem so over priced. If it wasn't for wanting to keep my tractors looking fairly OEM - i'd buy a fishing boat seat lol.

Just the seat. Here is what I've bought in the past for them. They adapt ok

The ones Ken pictured are the new replacements recomended for these and the Eliminator/QS QT series tractors.

Price is the deal breaker though at $162.90

If anyone wants one I can order it.

Thats the seat I have on my HT23. Unfortunately I noticed its starting to crack in the corners between the top and bottom.

I ordered two new seats. Same guy I got them from 5 or 6 years ago. He says they are the same exact ones I bought before. 2 shipped to my door for $160.

The new seats are here, the new seats are here.

Changed the one on my older HT-23. Perfect fit. It's the one with the bolt rite through the center through the seat spring. The only thing I had to change was the new 1/2" bolt that came with the seat. It's a shy bit short. Had one a 1/2" longer in my hardware.

Before

This is the same exact seat as the new one, only 10 years worth of weathering the elements mostly stored outside.

After ImageUploadedByTapatalk1412349964.416284.jpg

This should last much longer, I've pretty much cleaned out my shop/garage and I'll be able to store indoors that's heated and cooled most of the time. It never goes below 55.
