I replaced the Walbro Carb on my Magnum engine when I first got it(one it was in need of a rebuild..and two I detest Walbro carbs that need a rebuild)..anywho..I noticed what looked like a restricter plate between the carb and the manifold..didnt think much of it at the time...BUT NOW ITS MAKING ME CRAZY trying to figure out what and why?...someone please help me with this !!!!LOL

Does it have the fins on it? Noticed one on a Briggs turn out it's to help atomize the fuel..

I bet thats what it for..doesn't seem to come with the new gasket.
