The tracks are on hold for now .  I bought the 22 hp zero turn for the new full track dozer project. Now the zero turn is too nice to cut up . I went and looked at another zero turn to cut up but did not buy it . So still looking for a zero turn with 23 to 25 hp to cut up at a reasonable price with no mower deck.

My neighbor was throwing these two seats in the dumpster and he asked me if I wanted them. I said sure and two days later the very rusty seats look much better. One will go on the round fender trailer I am working on today :D

Might be tricky to back up :D

Especially when I add this caboose . My neighbor gave me this a few days ago and I built a new hitch for it and painted to match the jd train

Today I pulled the Cat project back on the lift table. I should get the v-plow and the wing plow done this week.

Todays progress in the workshop shows the v-plow hooked to the Cat tractor for the first time. You can see more bracing and the welds have been ground and filled with body filler. Also the wing plow has more bracing welded on . The v-plow is 48 in. wide and the wing is 30 in. wide.

My shop is the size of a one car garage and my tools are pretty basic. I do have a

small hand brake for 18 ga. sheet metal or thinner . Most of the metal I work with is 18 ga. but I use 1/8th in, 3/16, and 1/4 in. for gussets and bracing . Just light duty projects for light snowplowing fun. When the snow gets deep I just use my mini wheel loader and haul the snow all out back.

Todays progress shows the v-plow sanded and painted. Next I am building the mounting brackets for the wing plow. :smilewink:

So do I see the stacks are not hooked up? Why go to the effort to build them if you don't use them? Just curious.
