I hope the green thing in the seat is a spinner that hasnt been mounted on the steering wheel yet and not in its permanent location in the pic

What, never heard of a sit-n-spin?

Now I think we know why Don is so happy with this project!  :rolling:

Ha, Ha , Ha , no, the spinner is now attached to the steering wheel.

Todays progress shows the new red fuel cap and the new black radiator cap on the hood. Also I shortened the lift lever and mounted a new more comfortable seat. Today my four new tires and rims should arrive and if all goes well I could get the rear duels all mounted and tomorrows picture will show the finished tractor.

Thanks !!

Todays pics are the first time I drove it outside since I finished it. Deb just downloaded a video of me driving it out of the workshop and driving it in the backyard. It is fun to drive . Anyone wanting to see the video go to You-tube , doncampbellmodels, video number 193 .

Todays workshop progress shows two new sets of fenders . I cut out , drilled and bent them up and fitted the new headlights in them. I plan on building another 1/2 scale JD 4020 starting next week. The 6 new tires should arrive this Sat. Once it is done I will put them both for sale on Craigslist . If they sell I will build another one , if they do not sell I will just enjoy having them to keep.

I will put $4,000.00 on this one and $5,000.00 on the next one. The next one will have hydrastatic transmission and duel hydraulic outlets so I will have to pay a lot more for that tractor to begin with. I love these little tractors. The next one will have rear duels too .I absolutley love the look of the rear duels.

Thanks , I am a fan of every color of tractor , I love them all .

Todays workshop project shows my 1/2 scale narrow front jd 730 getting a little work done. Yesterday I bought another tractor and hauled it home. So in a few days I will get it in the shop up on the lift and get going on that new project. This one has hydrastatic transmission and two sets of hydralic couplers so i can build a disc or field cultivator in 1/2 scale and raise and lower it .

After selling five of my little tractors recently I decided it was time to buy one, ha,ha. So last Sat. I dragged this old jd 140 home. It has the hydraulics I need and I can build a 1/2 scale disc or other tillage item for the back and raise and lower it. I could even build a three point hitch for it if I choose. It should be another fun project.

WOW, if that's a old garden tractor that you "drug" in, I would like to see the nice ones you drive in! :rolling:

Looks like a nice project

ha,ha,ha.

Todays progress on the old 1/2 scale jd 730 narrow front shows the new fenders, the new lights, a new seat , and I am building running boards for it. This will all make it nicer to drive and maybe help sell it one day. also checking out how it would look with duel rear wheels ??

Here is my next project under way. It is my JD 140 . I have the larger tires mounted, the new fenders , new headlights, the new seat, the exhaust stack, the air cleaner stack and the fuel and radiator caps. Now I am roughing in the front grill and weights. This will be my last tractor project this year but I hope to get one piece of tillage equipment built before the snow starts. The new duel wheels should arrive later this week.
