Looks nice!, you will need to build a cab for it

Sounds like it works good, anything that turns snow into rain would be nice to have :bigrofl:

No cab , don't want to cover up that pretty tractor :smilewink:

The rain is absorbed by the deep snow on the roofs making it worse causing

roofs to collapse .

Looking back at the Steiner project today and how much fun I had on that project. I just had to put taller tires on it

It sure does a nice job of plowing snow :dancingbanana:

I remember the day the 8 brand new tires and rims arrived, very exciting :rocker2:

Handbuilt Cab Progress today shows it sanded and painted. I should get the Lexan tomorrow . Today I will work on the front overhead light brackets. I been checking prices on used garden tractor cabs and they are rare and expensive. I want to build a cab for my other jd 455 aws tractor next . Then maybe a cab for the RanchCat Tractor after that. Most people do want a cab so these cabs should help sell the tractors someday when I sell them. We got 6 inches of heavy wet snow this morning but I do not want to get the new tractor dirty in this sloppy mess. Stiener/Deere 4x4 tractor will do the job this morning.

ha,ha,

It has been 16 years since I bought a brand new John Deere so I just want to see it shiny and new a few more days before I start trashing it :D

Here are a few more pics of the Stiener / Deere 1/2 scale tractor project. It was fun when I got to this point and started seeing some of the final shapes.

yes, a heater would be nice

Today I got the the curved door windows done. I still have to box in the area around the brake pedals and then build the folding center window so the hood can raise and lower.

I got the door handle for the cab built yesterday .

Todays pics shows a picture of the Stiener/Deere at night . I wanted to keep all the lights to scale so I just put reflective tape on all of them. It almost looks like real lights.
