Last week, we ran corn till early afternoon Thursday, then we switched to soybeans. My dad ran beans till Saturday night. I tilled the old hay field Saturday afternoon, and the field that wheat was going to be planted in Saturday evening. Yesterday, I made a second pass over the field, then my dad planted wheat. I then worked up the other soybean field that had bean harvested. My dad was going to combine soybeans late yesterday afternoon and evening, but had a two hour wait at the elevator :( . So by the time he got back, it was to late. It rained this morning, so no field work today.

Sorry I haven't kept the updates coming. Today, my dad finished harvesting a field of soybeans. Now we just have the double-crop soybeans left to harvest, then the soybeans will be done!

Sure is a definitely good feeling!  Now you can get to the kajillion things you had to push back all this time!  :smilewink:   I'll be a while getting to all mine, but at least we've both got the "have to now" jobs done.

How many acres do you have left to harvest?

Oh, I thought you meant that you still had harvesting to do, but you were meaning your "kajillion things" you have to do.
