Started to map fields today for fall corn silage, some of our customers want to know exactly how many acres of silage they have taken out of a certain field. They call me and I will measure it with my computer on the 4 wheeler. I will put up some pics this afternoon...

   How is it that you get a job like that?  Looks like a great way to make a living, nice pics you posted.  Seems strange to me to look at those pics and not see any mountains?  where are the mountains?  around here you cant go anywhere without going over or around a hill or mountain.

If you think that's flat, try Western Kansas! You can see for 20 miles out there!

there are really about 2 weeks a year that are ugly, that's when its spitting snow and the ground is on the verge of freezing and its 35-40 degrees out side. but most of the time my office is wonderful. Peaceful too.
