I am using forumrunner.......my biggest complaint and after reading the threads George gave me one way I may be able to get around it......there is not place in forum runner to list my favorites....if I get out of gttalk by mistake.....i have to search for it again and get back into it.....am I missing something?? At this time I only use forumrunner for GT talk........you would think they would have a favorites list built in to their system.....

There is a way to add a site to your favorites, let me look at my phone and I will report back. Tapatalk lists a site as a favorite if you login to it which to me makes sense that if you have a login to a site then it should be one of your favorites.

Which does everyone like better? (I just bought Iphone 4)

I personally like Tapatalk a little better then forumrunner, not to say it is better but I tend to use it more.

I just checked with forumrunner and say you search for the site and then click on it. Once you are on the index page if you hit the menu button there should be a favorite box with a star, click that and it will be added to your favorites.

the new site system also has a mobile version, you have to selected it, but it works good on my Droid Incredible 2.

Yep Chuck is right. There is a mobile theme that can be accessed by visiting the site with your regular browser on your phone and then choosing the gttalk mobile theme at the bottom of the page. It has a few quirks here and there but for the most part works pretty good.

I loaded Tapa Talk on my Iphone last night and this is my first post since last night... that hasn't been on my Iphone using Tapa Talk. :bigrofl: I had heard that we were having issues with PM's in Forum Runner so went the Tapa Talk route first, works great, just ask Alan, I tested the PM's by sending him one last night lol. As for staying logged in, not a problem, it automatically brings up GTTalk when I click the Tapa Talk app icon.

Maybe it is just because I have used it more but between the two I prefer Tapatalk. I only have the free version of Forum Runner, maybe the paid version works better?

I have a feeling we will be removing ForumRunner in the future. Apparently forumrunner sold out to internet brands who also owns vbulletin software and internet brands has pretty much ruined vbulletin which used to be terrific forum software and now it is riddled with bugs. They are supposedly going to keep support for other forum software with forumrunner but I would not be surprised if that changes.

I just wanted to post this heads up for anyone who may be thinking about purchasing either app.

Yes, we are going to keep tapatalk and we will also keep forum runner as long as we can but just wanted to give a heads up that there is a good chance we won't be able to continue using forum runner.

Well, looks like I will be joining the ranks with a smart phone, a ZTE Score. So I decided I had better read this thread. I'll have lots to learn. Phone doesn't get here until late in the week.

OK, I just purchased tapatalk and found GTTalk there. I read some posts but how do I reply? Do I go to the open in safari and use the regular site?
