I bought myself a real treat this week.  I don't know how many of us have heard of Alan King's Garden Tractor books.  I only learned about them earlier this year.

Essentially, they are a collection of vintage ads for old garden tractors.  When I say old, I mean all the way from the late 1910's to the 1980's.

I spent far too much time already tonight looking at them when I really shouldn't, and I know they'll come in handy identifying all the projects I drag in.

Sadly, my understanding is that they are out of print.  However, if you find a set, get it!

:poke:

I mean that the 1910's are old and the 1980's are just vintage.

Remember, I sell on eBay.  Old, antique, vintage, collectable, and most particularly "rare" are words that can apply to anything.  :D

I was hoping also to be able to use them to help ID all these neat old GTs that keep turning up on here.  This group is turning into quite the hub for garden tractors, and we are all seeing the increase of the "Whazzat?" questions.

Ben W.

I think I found the set of three. I'm waiting for a total price including shipping.
