Anyone know much about the Yanmar liquid cooled 3 cyl gas engine ? The reason I am asking is because I was told today about a John Deere with a front blade. Now I don't know what model it is,but the guy said it was about the size of a 318.He said it is quite rough, but not rusted, just dents.Anyway,if I get time tomorrow,I am going to go look at it.

Maynard, It would be a 322, yes it is the same size of a 318,33o,332. pretty much like the 332 except for gas instead of diesel. I have not been around one but from what I have heard the people that have them really like them. They say they run really smooth and are quite. It should have dual brakes and dual hydralic levers and the blade should be a model 54. Hopefully it will have the angle cylinder on it. Hope this helps some.

Oops...another case of my not reading well. When I read Yanmar, my brain switched to diesel.

Diesel is what I think of too when I hear the name Yanmar.

Went and looked today, still don't know what it is.It has been painted with a brush all over everything including decals. But I guess it doesn't matter, this guy wants $1800.00 for it,which in my mind is waaaaaaaasyyy over priced considering the condition. There are dents everywhere, three tires need to be replaced,no battery,no deck, the blade that is on it doesn't go with it,the seat looks like something a rat had used to make a nest out of.Oh yes and the steering wheel is broken.I don't know when the last time was that I saw a tractor abused so badly. He claims it runs like a new one,but with no battery who knows.
