Got a call from a nice guy out of Missouri needing a military trailer hauled from my neck of the woods. Just loaded it up- will deliver if to Daniels where the owner will pick it up. It's a WW2 wooden trailer that was found in a barn and brought back to the USA. Pretty cool part of history riding with me this time. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1410733952.395904.jpg

I think it was found in or around Normandy- he said at the end of the war they started to build them out of wood because it was cheaper than steel and they did not plan to bring them back

Wow, in such fantastic condition!  My Dad will surely enjoy getting to look at that for a few days!  Being he was in WWII, it surely will bring back memories.

That looks like a Bantam trailer. My stepfather has been looking for one to go with his Ford GPW.

I  think we can call that "rare"! It's in amazing condition considering it must be at least 70yrs old!

That's what we used to pull with our Dodge Power Wagons in the Nat. Guard. It's a Willeys built Ben Hur type G-518 trailer.
