did the adjustments per the manual . idles fine , never could get the surging all the way gone so I took off the bowl. it had what looked like big  brown/yellow suger chunks in it . sprayed some carb cleaner at it put it back together .now it idles fine and when I throttle up it seems to do okay and then slams the govener foward and sounds like hell as its dying. sometimes I can recover by throttling down but mostly not. there seems to be gas ( a little) spashing out the carb onto the choke plate . suggestions ?

be gentle.... :smilewink:
